Maritime Search and Rescue 2018: Developing Capabilities for SAR Operations
Increasing vessel traffic, developments in technology and extreme environmental conditions are forcing response units to review and increase their Maritime Search and Rescue capabilities.
Now in its third year, Maritime Search and Rescue 2018, Chaired by Chris Reynolds, Director, Irish Coast Guard, will focus on increasing capabilities for operations in austere environments. The meeting will share new innovations, strategies and equipment to help increase preparations for specialised rescue operations facing Maritime Search and Rescue organisations.
