DGzRS Have Five Rescue Boats to Redeploy

Posted in News

Is Your Organisation Interested in Receiving One?

The German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS) have five 8.5m rescue boats, that they would like to redeploy in the next 18 months.

DGzRS have requested that the boats are either for sale with minimum offers of 20.000 considered, or they can be donated to eligible organisations. Please note, for a boat to be donated to your organisation an application process is in place.

A full description of the model and specification of the boat, can be found in the following diagram.

A photo of the boat is at the top of this page.

The recipients of the boats will be responsible for paying to get the boats from Germany to their new location, as well as paying any import taxes, and any other legal costs associated with importing the boats.

DGzRS requests that all organisations, who are interested in receiving the boats, have the capacity to run the boats and the technology and skills within their organisation to maintain the boats.
