The fifth World Maritime Rescue Congress will be held from 18–20 June 2023 in Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

The venue for the Congress will be the historic SS Rotterdam, formerly the flagship of the famous Holland-America Line and now a hotel and conference venue, permanently moored in Rotterdam.

The Congress theme is: Towards Sustainable Maritime SAR – Building on our History to Secure our Future, which we hope will provide participants with the opportunity not only to learn lessons from the past, but also to gain an insight into technologies, innovations and environmental issues that will help to make maritime SAR safer, cleaner and more effective for the future.

The WMRC 2023 website goes live today, so keep checking for further news about the Congress over the coming months, including how to register.
