Join us for the first International Search and Rescue (SAR) IMRF #WomenInSAR Training and Seminar, hosted by the Finnish Lifeboat Institution (FLBI).

The event will be held in Finland, in two locations, and will be divided into two parts – an operational training course and a seminar, which can be attended separately or together.

The theme for the event is ‘Sharing experience, highlighting leadership, and giving organisations the tools to increase the representation of women in SAR’.

IMRF International #WomenInSAR Training and Seminar - COVID-19 Contingency Planning

The IMRF has been at the forefront of international efforts to establish guidance for the safe operation of SAR services during pandemics and other health emergencies.

Although we intend that the training and seminar will take place in person, we have to recognise the fluidity of the COVID-19 situation internationally.

As a result, it may be necessary to make changes to the programme, or the logistics for the events, to take account of the prevailing COVID-19 restrictions or guidance.

The IMRF takes the safety of its event delegates extremely seriously and will communicate any changes to the events in good time, as the situation permits.
