The China Rescue and Salvage (CRS) is distinct from the China Coast Guard and is solely focused on maritime rescues and salvage after accidents or disasters at sea. A division of the Ministry of Transport, it is responsible for protecting the safety of navigation, shipping and seamen in Chinese waters. Read more

Commander Maritime Dr. Suzanna Razali Chan has worked with the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) - Malaysia Coast Guard since 2007. She joined the MMEA as a Lieutenant. Today, fourteen years later she holds the role of Principal Assistant Director in the Search and Rescue & Disaster Relief Division of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, Ministry of Home Affairs. Les Sauveteurs en Mer is an organization staffed by volunteers, who are in charge of rescue at sea and on the beaches (8,500 people approx.) who are in turn supported by 85 salaried professional staff. The organization has 215 stations on the French coasts including overseas French territories as well as one national and 32 regional training centers. We also have maintenance facilities in a few coastal locations. Read more
Rebecca is currently Director of Operations at Yellow Scorpion, a specialist aviation SAR consultancy, prior to this Rebecca was a Sea King Search and Rescue Helicopter Captain with the UK’s Royal Air Force, based in North East England, with deployments to the Falkland Islands and Afghanistan.
