WMRC 2023 - Registration Open

We are delighted to announce that registration and hotel bookings for the World Maritime Rescue Congress 2023 (WMRC 2023) are now open.

There are also sponsorship and exhibit opportunities.

As part of the three-day event, the congress will be showcasing an international fleet of lifeboats on the Nieuwe Maas river in the centre of Rotterdam, as well as undertaking a full programme of live SAR equipment demonstrations.

We look forward to welcoming you in June 2023 to the world’s premier maritime search and rescue (SAR) event, which will be held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

SAR people from around the globe will enjoy a full and varied programme, presentations and discussions, as well as an important exhibition – literally something for everyone involved in saving lives at sea.

The theme for WMRC 2023 is “Towards Sustainable Maritime SAR – Building on Our History to Secure our Future”, which we hope will enable participants to beneﬁt from lessons learnt, whilst getting an insight into innovations, technologies and environmental impact, that will help shape maritime SAR operations of the future.

For the WMRC 2023 Congress, a limited number of guestrooms at SS Rotterdam hotel, the Congress venue, will be oﬀered to registered delegates at a special rate.

People known to be in distress need to be rescued, of course – and the SAR community knows that this concept must also be extended to those believed to be in distress, and to those who, while not yet in distress, will become so if help is not provided to them in the meantime.
