Dear Member,

At this time of unprecedented disruption, I wanted to send you a personal note as we all face the effects of COVID-19.

If we haven’t already been affected, it is inevitable that everyone will be touched by it to some extent, whether it is in our work, our organisation or our own family and friends.

It is at times like these that collaboration and mutual support are increasingly important and the IMRF wants to play its part in helping our members to cope with the demands placed on them by the current situation.

Therefore, we are planning to set up a networking group that can be used by our members to learn from each other, as well as sharing any guidance and best practice drawn up by our members in response to COVID-19.

If your organisation would like to become involved in, or support these activities, please contact [email protected]

Of course, as the pandemic progresses, we will also be keeping our own planned events and trainings under review and will provide regular updates for members in the SAR HUB Bulletin (our new monthly members’ bulletin) and through our website.

In the meantime, I hope that you, your families, friends and colleagues keep well and I thank you for continuing to provide SAR services in what are challenging times for us all.

Kind Regards,

Theresa Crossley
