About Us Our Team Staff Staff Caroline Jupe - CEO Caroline has worked in the UK charity sector for 16 years having worked in a number of fundraising positions at Action on Hearing Loss and The British Heart Foundation. She has also spent time working at CRI, a drug and alcohol charity, as a project worker. There she worked with a range of clients with offending backgrounds and substance addiction. In February 2023 Caroline became the Chief Executive Officer at the IMRF, having previously been the Head of Fundraising and Projects. Location: United Kingdom E-mail: [email protected] Theresa Crossley - Consultant Theresa read Geography and Economic History at Leicester University and joined the UK Civil Service in 1981 and worked in several government departments. From 2004-10, she was Head of Shipping Policy in the UK Department of Transport where she was responsible for a wide range of maritime issues, including maritime search and rescue. From 2010-14 she was Deputy Director responsible for the Safety and Standards Department at the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) in Lisbon. After three years as Executive Director of the UK Major Ports Group, she became CEO of the IMRF in November 2017. Theresa stepped down from the role in February 2023 but continues to support the IMRF as a Consultant. She has a strong finance background, having trained with Saffery Champness, a London accountancy firm. Since then, she has been working in successful small- to medium-sized privately owned businesses, as well as briefly working at the RNLI in 2019 - so she is no stranger to maritime SAR!
