Les Sauveteurs en Mer is an organization staffed by volunteers, who are in charge of rescue at sea and on the beaches (8,500 people approx.) who are in turn supported by 85 salaried professional staff. The organization has 215 stations on the French coasts including overseas French territories as well as one national and 32 regional training centers. We also have maintenance facilities in a few coastal locations.
