The IMRF is very grateful to Allsalt Maritime, for a generous donation of £1,020 GBP towards its work developing and improving maritime search and rescue (SAR) capacity and capability around the world.

The company is based in Victoria, Canada, with offices in the US, Singapore, and the UK.

It designs and manufactures shock mitigation equipment for maritime professionals, mostly those involved in search and rescue, and border/drug enforcement activities.

Catherine Carlson, Marketing Manager, Allsalt Maritime says: “Normally we send our customers a personalised gift at the end of the year, but 2020 has been such a challenging year, we wanted to do something different. Many of our customers work in search and rescue including the UK Ministry of Defence, the RNLI, and many coast guards and navies around the world and so the IMRF was shortlisted and selected by our UK team.  It is an international organization doing timely and relevant work that aligns with the work we're trying to do, and so supporting the IMRF is a natural fit.”

Theresa Crossley, CEO, IMRF says: “We are most grateful to Allsalt Marine.  It’s been a challenging year for fundraising and yet the need for our services continues unabated.  We really appreciate the recognition and this kind donation will support our work with members to enhance SAR capability worldwide.”
