KNRM vessel renewal programme The Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue Institution (KNRM) is making a number of its current rescue boats available for sale as part of its fleet renewal programme. The boats available are the Valentijn class and the Atlantic 75 class. The Valentijn class is a 10,40m stable and self-righting rescue boat suited to offshore operations, and the Atlantic 75 class is a 7,50m fast and highly manoeuvrable inshore craft designed for rapid response in coastal and surf conditions. The boats have been developed and refined through years of service in demanding North Sea conditions and are recognised for their reliability, durability and performance. Both classes are equipped with professional navigation and rescue systems and have a strong operational track record in daily lifesaving service. The Valentijn class is priced at €95.000 and the Atlantic 75 is priced at €35.000. All IMRF members receive a 10% discount. KNRM will offer (online) on-boarding support to the new owners. Through its international network, the IMRF helps connect organisations that can offer assets with those that can benefit from them. This kind of collaboration supports real, operational impact and contributes to a stronger and more resilient global SAR system. Redeploying existing rescue assets is becoming an effective way to build capability, particularly for organisations operating with limited resources. It offers a practical solution that complements training and knowledge sharing by putting operational equipment directly into service where it is most needed. Further details on the vessels currently available, including specifications and capabilities, can be found below. For more information, please refer to the brochures for the Valentijn Class and Atlantic 75 Class. Technical specifications: The boats will be available “as is” and scrapped from KNRM logo’s and specific KNRM equipment. The buyer will be responsible for transport, import taxes (if applicable) and the associated legal costs. The buyer will need to possess the technical capacity to run and maintain the boat. KNRM will offer online onboarding support to the new owners. If you are interested, please complete the application form. For further details, please contact Max Marinissen. The IMRF is proud to showcase how its members, in collaboration with the IMRF, are plugging vital capability gaps around the world by routinely sharing their skills, knowledge and assets with each other. Collaboration is key in today’s modern maritime SAR sector and programmes like these are vital to help reduce this capacity gap. Manage Cookie Preferences
