Theresa Crossley - CEO

Theresa read Geography and Economic History at Leicester University and joined the UK Civil Service in 1981 and worked in a number of Government Departments. 

From 2004 – 2010, she was Head of Shipping Policy in the Department of Transport, where she was responsible for a wide range of maritime issues, including maritime Search and Rescue. 

From 2010-14 she was Deputy Director responsible for the Safety and Standards Department at the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) in Lisbon. 

After three years as Executive Director of the UK Major Ports Group, in November 2017 she became CEO of the International Maritime Rescue Federation (IMRF).

Caroline Jupe - Head of Fundraising & Projects

Caroline has worked in the UK charity sector for 11 years. Previous roles have included fundraising positions at 'Action on Hearing Loss' and 'The British Heart Foundation'.

She has also spent time working at 'CRI', a drug and alcohol charity, as a project worker. There she worked with a range of clients with offending backgrounds and substance addiction.

As of March 2016 Caroline became the Fundraising Manager at the IMRF.

Wendy Webster - IT Management & Digital Creative Officer

Wendy studied as a nurse for two years, and worked for twelve years in the administration for several non-profit companies in the Netherlands and Scotland.

But she realised that her strengths were lying elsewhere, and as of 2009 Wendy followed various courses in Web Design, Art and Digital Design

From 2010 to 2012 she volunteered for the Maritime Rescue Institute (MRI) in Stonehaven, Scotland, as an Website Administrator and an Access Database Developer.

As of 2012 she is employed as the IT Management & Digital Creative Officer for the IMRF, and has been developing her skills in Web and Digital Design ever since.
