Global SAR Development

The IMRF supports and facilitates global SAR development.

The IMRF in collaboration with the IMO since 2012 is working to develop maritime SAR resources and capability across Africa.

The IMRF work complements IMO funded initiatives, by working with Maritime Administrations, MRCCs and MRSCs to identify development needs and provide specialist programmes of training, knowledge-sharing and international networking.

To see what we achieved in 2022 go to the article African SAR Development Remains Vital to IMRF Agenda and to view the impact we have had prior to 2022, click on the following link for our infographic.
