Four years after the launch of the initial survey, the IMRF has returned to evaluate the progress the industry has made in gender balance and equality by conducting another industry-wide survey. The report is being launched with the aim of understanding of women’s current position in maritime SAR, as well as identifying other areas of improvement that can be made to make the industry a more inclusive place for everyone.

From findings from the 2021 #WomeninSAR report, the IMRF released its #WomeninSAR guidance showcasing guidance and best practices for increasing the representation of women in the maritime SAR sector.
