#SaferSAR webinar - Building a Safer SAR Culture: The Role of Reporting, Learning and Human Factors

The IMRF will be hosting a free online webinar on Monday 29 June from 12:00-13:30 BST (UTC +1) as part of its #SaferSAR initiative titled Building a Safer SAR Culture: The Role of Reporting, Learning and Human Factors.

Join Jaakko Heikkilä, IMRF International Programme Manager, for webinar titled "Building a Safer SAR Culture: The Role of Reporting, Learning and Human Factors" as he discusses the IMRF Safety Learning Logs and shares safety insights from across the sector.

He will be joined by Pasi Paldanius, HSEQ Manager at Finnpilot Pilotage, who will discuss how safety reporting can help build a stronger safety culture. Paul Duffy, IMRF SAR Academy Project Manager, will also provide insight into situational and cognitive awareness, and the role these play in supporting safer search and rescue operations.

The webinar is free to attend and open to all.

The IMRF Maritime SAR Academy is launching its first e-learning modules, marking a major milestone in the development of a new global learning platform for maritime search and rescue (SAR) personnel.
