Global Maritime SAR Forum: Survival in Warm and Cold Water The IMRF’s Global Maritime SAR Forum (GMSF) is the world’s leading platform bringing the global SAR community together to exchange ideas, explore innovation, and learn from real-world experience - all with one shared goal: improving maritime search and rescue. Each month, IMRF members can join a live virtual session featuring expert presentations, new technologies, practical insights, and open discussions where you can connect, question, and collaborate with SAR professionals from around the world. Can’t make a session? All presentations are available afterwards in this members-only area of our website. We’re honoured to welcome Dr Paul Luckin, #Medical Advisor to Police Search and Rescue & SAR Training #Australia, to present at our next Global Maritime SAR Forum. In his session, Dr Luckin will explore the crucial physiological and clinical elements that impact a person’s ability to survive in aquatic environments, in cold and warm waters - from cold water shock and hypothermia to exhaustion and delayed rescue. The date is TBC and the joining link will be in the Members' Knowledge Hub soon.
