Join us for the fourth international Search and Rescue (SAR) IMRF #WomenInSAR Training. The operational training course will be held on 27-30 August. Our 2022, 2024 and 2025 training events sold out and you can read write ups of them here.

EVENT INFORMATION

The #WomenInSAR Training Course will be running 27-30 August. This training is for 16 participants and is intended for women operating on maritime SAR vessels, from IMRF member organisations only. The training will include several aspects of leadership on SAR vessels, including communication, mission handling, and different tools and procedures to assist in leading the unit. Ample time will be provided for sharing experiences. The training will include both facilitated class-room discussions and practical exercises conducted on the rescue boats. Who Should Attend?

The #WomenInSAR Training is intended for women operating on maritime SAR vessels, who are already coxswains (or similar position) or who are on the path to becoming coxswains. All participants are encouraged to share their experiences as part of the learning process.

Registration Fees

For IMRF Members Only: £550 per person.

Included in the Training

  • All meals and refreshments while on the training course.

Costs Not Included

  • Your travel, accommodation during the training (cost to be determined as training location is selected), any additional accommodation costs outside the training days, and any other costs you incur in attending the event.
